where blood tests are performed as pre-anesthetic profiles or for sick cats
when we need to know results quickly. |
  |
| Treatment area: An
area where dentistry, surgery prep, and many different types of treatments are
performed.
|
 |
| Radiology:
Radiographs (x-rays) are taken and developed here. |
 |
| Surgical suite:
Surgeries are performed using modern equipment and techniques.
Inhalent anesthesia is used throughout surgery, and the patient is monitored
by a technician and electronic instruments during the procedure. We
have laser capabilities to decrease pain and bleeding and increase speed of
recovery. |
 |
| Hospitalization: A
room where patients are housed and monitored post-surgically or when they are
sick but not critical.
|
 |
| Boarding: Our
guests stay in deluxe suites with perches they can get under or sit on. Cats
that do best with each other stay in double rooms, where access is open
between 2 cages. Our kitties get clean towels, little boxes if they
are shy, and have their food, water, and litter refreshed as needed
throughout the day.
 |

|
| Isolation: A
room far from the other cats where patients with potentially contagious
diseases (respiratory especially) are housed. They are cared for just
as well as the others, but special care is taken to limit the possibility of
contamination. |
 |
| ICU (Intensive
Care Unit): where very sick or critical patients are housed.
They are closely monitored, and our technicians frequently check on them and
administer needed medications and treatments. |
 |
| In addition to
feline medicine and surgery, we offer a large supply of cat foods and products. |
